Having placed hundreds of partner-level lawyers and moved many hundreds of millions of dollars in portable business, we are particularly sensitive to the needs of lawyers at this more advanced stage of their careers and are intimately familiar with the myriad complex issues that confront senior lawyers engaged in the process of evaluating their strategic options. Indeed, for lawyers for whom law practice is not part of their strategic vision, we place lawyers in-house with corporate law departments as well.

Founded in Los Angeles in 1987 by John Jameson, The Jameson Group is one of the region's largest legal search firms and quickly rose to national prominence.  Indeed, The American Lawyer in its survey of all U.S. based legal search firms cited The Jameson Group as the nation's highest rated firm.  John Jameson is an attorney with joint JD and MBA degrees from USC in 1981 who practiced financial institutions, corporate securities, real estate and workout law before entering the legal search business.
